Mohammad Zain Shafi Khan

Mohammed Zain Shafi Khan, an international student from Bengaluru, India, is pursuing a dual degree in International Relations and Journalism. He serves as the Executive Editor of Annenberg Media, USC’s multi-platform student newsroom and the largest in Southern California, where he leads a team of over 300 contributors.

Previously, Zain worked with Al Jazeera, covering topics ranging from American politics to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. His bylines have appeared in prominent outlets such as The Guardian and Zeteo News. During USC’s pro-Palestinian encampment, Zain provided critical coverage, highlighting the heavy police presence on campus.
