Salma Durra

Salma Durra is a Muslim, Jordanian-Palestinian student born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry this past year and is a current Master of Science candidate in Gerontology at the University of Southern California. A passionate activist and advocate for as long as she can remember, Salma has worked with Students for Justice in Palestine, Human Rights Watch, Children of War, March for Our Lives, the Syrian American Medical Society, and Alzheimer’s Los Angeles. With each, she has been involved in various initiatives focused on social equity, health access, and spreading awareness, working alongside fellow Muslims to lead meaningful change.
