Dr. Masoud Movahed

Masoud Movahed is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Movahed is an economic sociologist whose work examines the relationship between institutional designs of national economies and economic inequalities. Most of Dr. Movahed's research draws on computational and quantitative methods, but he retains a keen interest for comparative historical methods as well. His research has been published in influential venues such Journal of International Development, Sociological Quarterly, International Journal of Comparative Sociology, Interface: A Journal for and About Social Movements, Harvard International Review, Foreign Affairs, Boston Review, Harvard Economics Review, World Economic Forum, Yale Journal of International Affairs, and Aljazeera among others.
