Zahraa recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. degree in Health and Societies with a concentration in Global Health and a minor in Bioethics. Her academic and career interests include medicine as well as the relationship between forced migration and health, and the intersection of Islamic ethics and bioethics. She has been performing spoken word poetry for over seven years, and aims to use the narratives of the Ahlul-Bayt as a means of social justice. She currently resides in Philadelphia, PA.
