Zamina MithaniGraduate Student, UBC Faculty of Medicine
Zamina Mithani is a recent graduate of the Bioethics program at Harvard Medical School and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia. In her undergraduate years, she served as the president of Thaqalayn Muslim Association, the president of the Interfaith Collaboration for kindness foundation, gave multiple TED talks about her Muslim identity, and organized various Shi'a and interfaith programming at her campus and beyond. During her masters program at Harvard, she was heavily involved in the Boston Muslim community through Taha Collective and Ma'rifa Programs. She writes and performs poetry in her spare time and is passionate about healthcare ethics and equity.
